Clinical Applications
Repertory grids were initially developed by George A. Kelly (1955) in the context of psychotherapy. The tradition of using repertory grids has been maintained over the years, particularly in Australia, Great Britain, and other European countries; and links to contemporary resources can be found below. Published papers have also appeared over the years in a variety of journals, and a classic -- yet dated -- book is Nigel Beail's Repertory grid technique and personal constructs: Applications in clinical and educational settings (1985; Cambridge, MA: Brookline Books).
